Welcome To The Year Of The Rooster 2005
What do we know about the energy of that Divine Fowl? Well, I decided to ask other Feng Shui experts for their opinions. The reason being my typing this week is a little out of balance.? Why? Because I didnt follow the rules of using scissors or knives! Yes after telling my grandchildren weekly not to run with scissors for fear of an injury, I cut my hand with a new kitchen knife. My fingers are all intact but not working at top speed, so I have been told to rest them by the powers that be.
So here is a treat from my friend and colleague Terah Collins, international speaker, teacher, author and founder of the Western School of Feng Shui in San Diego. I spoke to Liv, Liv@wsfs.com, Terahs trusted and wonderful assistant, this morning, told her of my dilemma with my hand, and they were delighted to share this information on the Rooster. Enjoy!!!
PS. I will be on their Feng Shui radio program again April 8th. Please check www.worldtalkradio.com for time.
Hello and Welcome to the& WESTERN SCHOOL OF FENG SHUI ChiRRific" E-Zine - a forum for sharing and celebrating our Feng Shui lifestyle!
I wish you a very Happy New Year as we swing out of the wily year of the Monkey and into the winged year of the Rooster. Get ready to spread your wings and fly, because this year is all about YOU! And because 2005 is related to the Wood element, your intuition is bound to soar. The gift of the Wood Rooster is the compelling desire to branch out, grow, and add new feathers and flowers to your cosmic cap. This year sets the beat for an enthusiastic dance of self-discovery, intuitive development, and an infusion of courage that boldly clears all obstacles from your path. And because the Rooster is dedicated to the truth, therell be plenty of opportunities to give voice to your hearts desires and wing your way directly toward your full potential!
Take flight and enjoy every moment! Terah Kathryn Collins
ADDITIONAL INSIGHTS INTO THE YEAR OF THE WOOD ROOSTER
Written by Karen Carrasco, WSFS Instructor and Seminar Director Any Wood year stimulates new growth and heightens our power of intuition, our desire to be more physically active, and our interest in exploring territory. The Rooster energies are actually quite complex. Rooster is, at first glance, very in-your-face assertive and territorial... but on closer examination we find a much more subtle blend of energies. The Rooster is all about knowing her territory to the most minute detail, who her tribe is and that they are well fed and protected. She manages others needs while guarding her own strength, and is always willing to expand her territory or clarify her objectives. She knows her priorities well. She is a master of observation, and only enters a struggle when she knows she will win. Shes a bit flamboyant, but her showiness always serves to further her goals. Rooster people are excellent managers of money, and will create meticulous budgets and schedules for themselves and anyone else who crosses their path.
A great year to move forward in all arenas, but only after a thorough review and/or re-ordering of priorities. If you have not already noticed... it is going to be THE YEAR OF DECLUTTERING. This will become such a national pastime that you might start to get tired of hearing about it, but be patient for the sake of all the newbies out there who have yet to practice this, and definitely make hay while the sun shines by promoting that aspect of your Feng Shui offerings.
I always recommend Theodora Laus The Handbook of Chinese Horoscopes, for more details.
