What The Bleep Happened To 2005???
Have you ever met someone to whom you politely said, “It was nice seeing you,” when you really wanted to say, “You make me uncomfortable and I’m glad it is time to go home. Sorry I can’t stay around to hear all of my faults brought to the surface once more by people who say they care!” Well goodbye to the energy of the Chinese Rooster 2005. Yes, that little “varmint” caused some things to get stirred-up!
I have many friends who are Roosters, and they had a hard time working around that little feathered accountant! Personally, I felt as if most of my decisions were made in a hurry. If you can imagine a feisty chicken wearing a red hat on roller skates, on your heels day and night … you have the picture. Known to be the time keeper of time keepers, his constant croaking made me, a patient person, want to have him for dinner! Yes, I admit I wanted to run away and bury my head under a pillow. Keeping up with Rooster energy will “clean your clock”.
His/her (as some years the energy of the bird is feminine or Yin) mission is to bring you to task for old habits, realize they are your worst enemy, and to break the chains which bind you. “But I don’t want to! It’s too hard, and I’m familiar with suffering,” you reply when change is apparent. “Leave it behind, the load is too heavy for this boat,” the Rooster commands. “And if I don’t?” you counter. The wild-winged, colored creature saddens, his top hat droops and he answers in this way. “I have given you a full year to examine your business, your relationships, and your successes. What have you been doing? Timing is everything. If you haven’t learned to organize and cut out what isn’t working, the boat will not sail smoothly,” he explained. “It’s NOW that I’m here to help you, if you decide to stay in your comfort zone, I will come again in 12 years and we will try again,” he mumbles.
“Ugh,” I say, while ‘deleting’ things that are slowing me down. I want to be on that boat, because at my age, clearing the deck and timing are of the essence, I decide.
“Where do I start?” “Where do you want to start?” is my question to you. How’s your HEALTH? The CENTER of any home or structure contains the EARTH and reflects your organs, the Tai Chi, or that strange-looking symbol of black swirled against white. A symbol we began to see in the U.S. during the 1960’s (similar to two tadpoles hugging each other, with a dot of the opposite inside each of the two parts. The ancient icon represents the dual of Male within Female and Female within Male, the Sun and Moon working together to create life). Look to the middle of your home for clues. Actually, each of the eight other Guas, or areas of the home, can also reflect feet, arm, hip, eye and head illnesses and bone problems.
If the CENTER of the space is a stove, floor heater, fireplace, plumbing or just plain cluttered, fix it. Are there any leaks, electrical problems in the house or building? Broken lines and leaks can relate to bladder and kidney while hallways move energy in our bloodstream. The Rooster wants everything repaired and clutter removed “on time.”
He reminds me of the old “Alice in Wonderland’s” bunny or rabbit running around like a cholesterol-induced surrounding, stressed out and warning himself, “I’m late, I’m late, for a very important date, no time to loose, hello, good-bye, I’m late, I’m late, I’m late.”
Let’s make an attempt to catch that boat, as I’m sure next year will be exciting and I want to be on the cruise for The Year of the Dog! I’ll explain more next week, but I’m late for an appointment so must run!!!
