Welcome Abundance Into Your Life With Feng Shui

Feng shui, long used by businessmen to boost profits and call in prosperity, is being used by more homeowners. This letter I recently received tells one woman’s story of financial gain after enhancing her wealth corner.

Dear Caroline,

First of all let me start this by telling you that testimonials have always left me a little leery of whatever they’re telling me about. It seems a little far-fetched that Bubba Paris has really dropped 30 lbs just taking one ounce of some concoction before he goes to bed and even harder to believe that he looks great in his brown suit. The sleep till noon and make $10,000 a week ads always left me just a little doubtful. But I really have to tell you what has happened to me recently.

Just a little history, six years ago I was a well-employed married woman living in a lovely home on the bay in Marin County. Five years ago I became a 47-year-old divorcee with no job. I moved to Benicia to start a new life. It’s been the best decision I ever made. I’ve been in business for myself and have had to put house payments on credit cards to survive. Last January when I took a position with Benicia News.com selling advertising I made a living on First Street. In April I wandered into Caroline’s Arts and Feng Shui Shoppe. I didn’t have a clue what Caroline did but after talking to her for about twenty minutes I thought what the heck I’ll give it a try.

Caroline came to my home a few days later and explained what feng shui was all about. I had just put a pond in the left hand corner of my lot and she said "That’s your wealth corner." She suggested that I put a number of fish into the pond, more a mud puddle at that point to enhance my wealth.

Since that day everything I’ve touched has turned to gold. I’m working with a great start up company that makes CD-rom business cards. This has really started to click but where I really hit the jackpot is selling flags.

September 11 brought many changes to many lives. We’ll all never be the same. Twenty-five years ago I worked for a workshop for mentally developed challenged adults. For the last ten years this facility has been making flags for the government and slowly going broke. Around the first of October, the director called me and asked if I could help him turn this situation around. Their flags are absolutely beautiful; embroidered stars, carefully sown stripes and 100% American made.

My first call was Raley’s and they bought 417 flags, which was quite a hit. On a whim I sent one to Costco and the bells went off. Their first order was for 12,960 flags. Not only was my commission check incredible but also my good fortune has saved the jobs of about 60 hard-to-employee people. Instead of anticipating a lay off, we are now going forward and gearing up for the spring with new sizes and materials.

Another story about newfound wealth: I put $40.00 in a poker machine in Reno and won $10,000! So my advice to anyone with a mud puddle on the left side of their yard; create a pond and add fish and let feng shui do the rest!

Thank you!

The wealth area of your home and property represent abundance in every area of your life, gratitude, and gathering and multiplying your harvest. The promise of abundance comes from using your talents. When standing at the front door of your home or office the area representing your wealth is located at the far back left corner. To locate the wealth corner of your property, stand at the street facing your property and look to the far back left corner.

Some enhancements for this area include:

    • The color purple or red or blue.
    • Objects: water features including water fountains, fish tanks, ponds, birdbaths; make sure all water features are clean, and running. Lead crystals, coins, money posters, piggybanks, and gold colored objects.
    • Artwork: featuring easy-flowing water (no Niagara Falls or Hurricane paintings!)
    • Décor: lush harvest scenes, fruits and flowers, especially grapes. Fabrics in shades of purple. Wavy swirling patterns resembling water. Bowls of fresh fruit. Crystal chandelier. Elegant color scheme of gold, lavender and green.

If this area of your home is missing, you could add a fountain outside to symbolically square off the missing area. Build a patio with an overhang and plant a purple flowering vine like wisteria. Add a water feature and make sure to keep the water clean and moving!

A bathroom located in this area creates a challenge in attaining and retaining wealth. Your money is going down the drain! Begin to minimize this influence by keeping the bathroom door shut and the toilet lid down.

Clutter, broken items, messes of any kind or constriction in this area blocks money flow. Clean it up! Jump-start your clutter clearing by choosing nine items to give or throw away for nine days.
