The Value of a Good Consultation
Feng Shui consultations seem to be a big expense, but in comparison to money spent on cars, gas and groceries, it is a DEAL. A consultation from an experienced Feng Shui expert is the absolute best present you can give yourself! I used to give gift certificates, but the recipients usually didnt want to be bothered and so they exchanged their present for merchandise, such as one of my paintings. The person giving the certificate was trying to help their friend or relative to clean up their house! So my advice was to please check to see if the person really wanted a consultation. Consultations can change the energy within seconds if the client is willing to listen and make the adjustments. But with human nature there is personal Chi.
Those with Fire Energy run quickly ahead of me, listen to everything and make the changes immediately. Those with Wood Chi can be flexible like a spring breeze or stubborn and not willing to change anything because they know better. Earth Energy is homey and comfortable, and feeds me tea and brownies; or the house is so dense with collections, I can barely move from one room to the next. A balanced mother-earth, takes her time, and you feel like staying for a week or two and being cared for. Metal people are sharp thinkers, you can feel their brain taking in every word, processing each theory and filing it somewhere in their brain. Off-balance Metal clients talk over you and chat through the whole two to four hours. This energy is called Metal Mouth. They dont listen, and the only sound you hear is them talking. The last personal Chi element is Water. These individuals watch intently with soft dewy eyes, that see, feel and listen in a musical way, taking into their bodies every word you utter. They are healers and angels. Off-balance, Water over reacts and take things personally. For example, I might say, Bringing in more yellows, reds and greens would help balance the excess blues and greens in the house or give the watery colors some Earth, Fire and Wood to soak up the excess Water. But what they hear is, You dont like my color scheme. Period. Emotions rule and they take your advice as a personal slam.
Well, the good news is, we have a combination of all Five Elements in our personal Chi. The bad news is, we might have too much of one or could be lacking in another. That is where the Art of Feng Shui makes up in color, decor and placement of certain things, such as the stove, bed and desk, three important items which determine nourishment, rest and work. When they are out of command position in the house or office, the imbalance of the Five Elements start tumbling in a destructive cycle. Listen to your expert consultant. Hopefully they have done over one thousand consultations to be able to see, feel and activate your home. I must say that I have done over 4500 consultations and still am learning daily from Master Lin Yun techniques for helping clients with health, money and marriage problems. A good consultation is the best money you will ever spend. Please give yourself the gift which will give continued guidance from furniture arrangement to information about your illnesses and childrens learning problems.
Below is an example of a follow up for this womans new home. They should have called me before buying the property and remodeling the house. It was too close to a river bottom and the stove is in direct view of the front door, which can cause blood problems in the body because there is too much fire in line with the entry. Something has to be done to interrupt the straight line between Water, front door Career and Fire, Fame in direct alignment. She and her husband were already conflicting on many issues, and so it sets up unsettling energy in the dwelling. The man wants to finish the remodel and she wants things in certain places. Fire and Wood burning each other up!
Caroline,
We have been living in the river house and I am now ready to begin purchasing accessories for it. I would like your input if my original fee includes a follow up. Let me know. Thank you.
Hi, Hope your house is about finished and you are gathering questions.
I wanted to suggest one way to divide your stove from the front door is hanging a beautiful wall hanging or picture of a rainbow or rainbow-colored mobile or art with those colors just as you come in the front door. (It seems there is a small wall there?) Or a rug hanging on the wall with those colors, or you can use the colors in a combination of all the elements like green, red, yellow, white and black in some way.
I would still use a crystal at the front door to welcome and spread the Chi in a spiraling motion. Be sure you get a good quality of pure round faceted crystal ball. Hang on a fish line that is 9 or 18 inches long, but for better luck a red string in the same length.
A stove represents us having enough abundance that we have plenty of food to cook to feed many people, and thus money and food are linked and the way to cook it is with the FIRE Element. The front door is the CAREER section and is the WATER Element, so we are trying to separate them to keep better digestion and bring in more money, health and luck.
I would buy a tiny rearview mirror convex (pushes outward) in the auto section of most stores, and place one on the back wall of the wall behind the stove looking outward. It can be also stuck on like the center of a flower or some other design or incorporated in a design one woman made it the center of a daisy she painted. This is to help with your health if you are the one cooking, so you can see everything behind you. A happy cook brings good Chi to the food and nurtures the family.
Use the space between your box springs and mattress to place other cures, by seeing the bed as a room with the entry at the bottom of the mattress or the foot of the bed, then all of the Guas or sections lay on the bed accordingly. Whatever you want to work on such as marriage, you would use the top right side to place pictures of you and your husband face to face. I think I sent you the red string-binding marriage cure. I use it once a year just to strengthen our marriage.
For health problems, place a square yellow cloth in the center or health Gua of the mattress and box springs. Yellow is very healing. It clears the liver and helps with the bile.
Blessings, Caroline
A follow up reveals they didnt make many of the changes I suggested, thinking decor is the only thing Feng Shui is about. They wanted another consultation, only free this time. The river came almost up to the house, threatening flood (Emotion). The neighbors house caught on fire a few months before they moved in. Anger can be unbalanced Wood (Fire). They didnt speak to them because they didnt like them. Unbalanced Water, Fire, Wood.
