Upheaval at Home Reflects the Country’s Instability! Use Feng Shui to Ease Problems

Good afternoon from the West Coast!

Yes, Mercury, the planet of communication, is going direct October 15^th, and for those of you who have noticed the ups and downs of unresolved issues from the past demanding center stage, you are in the majority. (Google ‘information Mercury Retrogrades’ to understand more.) Grown children are lashing out about the unfair treatment they received in their youth. The complaints range from “you didn’t give me any allowance” to “stay out of my life with your advice or you will never see me or the grandchildren again!” My clients and friends have been alarmed with the violent nature of these actions. Wow, when you step back and take a look, these personal episodes reflect the behaviors of our country’s current upheaval crisis. Yes, we are our house, our city, our nation. Like energy attracts like energy.

A lot of rehashing, making room for new negotiations and hopefully new ways of solving problems, have been agreed or not agreed upon. Remember, the holidays are coming soon and peace needs to be restored. Adults need to be examples, compromising without sacrificing, writing new family contracts. Go with the flow of this Chi, as it is Roto-Rooter, deep cleaning time, getting ready for The Earth Ox of 2009 to plow new fields of how we want the future to benefit mankind. “Reset” the old way of doing things. Instead of rolling in the money one minute and broke the next, plan to flow easily and surely like a stream of continuous Water (the element that brings prosperity), bringing a sure but steady flow of money and opportunities to your door, increasing Water’s ability to make money, like a river’s gentle movement, not a tsunami. Make a plan to “clean up your act” and start now. Be ready for solid opportunities coming soon. Hopefully the volatile ups and downs of finances, health and careers will settle into a secure way of life as the Ox peeks his head around the corner in February 2009. As my father-in-law used to say, “You kids are living too high on the hog and when you fall, it’s a long way to the ground!” He was right as usual, and our family has hit the ground a few times.

Now that decisions and compromises have been made, Feng Shui, Feng Shui and Feng Shui. Find those floor-plan maps I made for you a few years ago and call in your new questions. It is a new game and the rules have changed. What you asked me in a consultation a while back has certainly taken a new path and with all the politics, moving, changing and renegotiated family contracts in place, changes can be made to support the “New Plan.” Dust off your crown of respect, as I’m sure this is one of the issues you demanded, and wear it proudly, knowing that everyone who had issues is a winner. Hopefully you didn’t “sacrifice” all in this “New Deal” or you will surely have to take another look at the problem down the line. If you didn’t get the message of solving these family issues during the last few weeks, then I send you lots of light and love and the ability to become flexible, like the bamboo in a gentle wind, and don’t “break” in your stubbornness.

To ease family situations, place an altar in the middle left side of your house, or the left middle side of any room, except the Master bedroom. Place pictures of the family, children and grandchildren, especially the ones that are unhappy. Light up the area day and night with an electric light or electric candle. Use green as the supporting color. You could also place a bamboo flute on the wall over the pictures. Flutes can be used many, many ways, but the Wood Element supports family and the health of our families. Place a fresh plant to encourage new growth in everyone’s forgiveness. As you notice the arrangement during the day, send prayers for guidance as you pass by the space.

Riding the wave of The Earth Rat has been a trip in 2008. The stickler of Earth promising us solid loving prosperity was just a facade, as the triad of this year’s Chi was hidden under the Earth. It was riding on Water. Imagine these energies stacked one upon the other. First is the cute energy Rat, who came first when Buddha called. He/she was ready in an instant for any task. Next see him standing on solid ground. It seems to be a great place to be! Now visualize Water under the Earth. Can you see what is happening? The Rat is wanting to race forward with his/her service to mankind, but an earthquake, flood or other upheaval is awaiting him. Thus our government, our finances and our families are dancing on mud! Water can bring on emotional issues as well.

Many wonderful things are happening in my life, as I finally dealt with the “Elephant in the Living Room” and used Feng Shui throughout the process. I hope to educate others of how it can be done, and keep the family intact. I can tell you the rewards are freeing and delicious when you give up having to be right. I never said it was easy, but using ancient techniques to ease new world issues is a win-win situation!
