Tree Removal Affects the Feng Shui or Energy of the Home’s Residents

Hi,

The City is pulling up the tree in front of my friend’s house and repaving the sidewalk. They are going to put in a new tree in its place. She has gone out and talked with the tree and told ‘her’ what is going to happen. It has been not looking as good as it used to. It’s been there since before they moved in 20-odd years ago, and so I told her to put some rescue remedy water around the new tree. Maybe she should put some around the old one before it is removed?

Any other ritual she should do?

I was thinking that we had the walnut tree removed from the Susanwood house which you Feng Shui’ed maybe a year or so before I moved into my friend’s house and rented from her. My father died the following year, and I came down with the endo... (heart problems) ...can it happen when you aren’t even living there?

Hi to you,

Yes, old properties can still affect you, as you ‘took on the energy” of the dwelling and its surroundings. You can still do some visualization to detach from that house. You are the best person I know to make one up for this purpose, since this is part of your teaching talent as a hypnotherapist.

Placing the Feng Shui Bagua over your house and yard is a great tool for finding out where any plant or tree is affecting the people inside the home. This eight-sided wheel has eight aspects. Each aspect radiates Chi or life’s energy inside and outside of the house. Trees in front of the house have to do with Career, Helpful People and Travel, and the Knowledge of those living in the home. It depends where the entry door is located on the house. If the front door is in the middle, it affects mainly opportunities coming to its occupants. Ear is the body part associated with Career. If the front door is to the left (looking from the street to the house), removal of the tree would affect the Knowledge of those living inside the dwelling, who may feel their Knowledge is not being appreciated. This area on the left front side is known for Self Cultivation and Hands are associated with this Gua. To the far right of the house front is Helpful People and Travel. This is the energy of this section, so if the entry door is built to the right, the Head is involved.

When a tree is cut anywhere on the property, the Wood Element of the ancestors is affected; but at the front of the house opportunities will be curbed and the body might feel a problem in the areas of hands, ears, and head. Since the Wood Element of Family and Ancestors is disturbed, feet, legs and hips could show the effects of the cutting.

Each type of tree and plant has an energy. Look up the energies of pines, elms, walnut, willow, etc. These are more clues to add to the tree’s purpose outside your door!

To ease the situation, mix up a solution of red paint and water, representing life’s blood. Starting at the front door, pour or sprinkle the red mixture in a line from the door around the tree and back to the house. This will bring its life force back to the home. This is best done between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., the hours between Yin and Yang, when night turns to day, which are the closest hours for prayer asking for opportunities relating to jobs, knowledge and career. She could also do this between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. in Yin time. I always sprinkle cornmeal or rice around the tree and back to the house to bring in the energy of “new life and growing upward energy” to the stump. Immediately place a potted plant on the top if possible, and toss more rice around the area and on top. Visualize “God’s Light” surrounding the area and all the new opportunities which will continue to flow to you and your family. I had my grandkids help me spray red paint on the ground in the same fashion before the removal of five 300-ft. Cyprus trees on the property. We placed red painted coins and tossed them in the holes where the stump was removed. That way you can visualize not only love and light but auspicious abundance coming into the property. But cornmeal and rice are a bonus for new growth.

All living and dying plants, trees, grass and upkeep of properties affect the area or Gua in the yard, property, and inside and outside of the house. For example, Eye problems are related to the far back middle of the house in the red Fame and Fire Gua. Broken windows, cloudy windows, dead trees and more reflect the environment to the individual!

Talking to the tree is the first step so your friend has a good start to the problem. Picking an auspicious day is also a good idea. They are called Chinese Lucky Red Dot days. You can go online to find them or call me before remolding (cutting into “the skin” of the house) or cutting trees, getting married, etc. Yes, sprinkling or spraying a diluted mixture of the Flower Essence called Rescue Remedy by Bach is great. Other brands are Tree Frog Essences made by Diana

Pepper or some from Master Essences by Lila Deva, both friends of mine. Their energy is fantastic and I call Diana when I need special ones for myself or animals. Lila has a book out for animals and another one for people. I sold her brand in my Feng Shui Shoppe for years.

I’m off to do a Feng Shui for a kitty kennel! Hope this helps some.

I will be taking Pear Essence, which is in the Masterkit equivalent to Rescue Remedy. I will spray a mist to settle the little creatures waiting for homes. Excited pets are relieved of anxiety from emotional and physical issues caused from the caged environment. This is a great way to help your own pets with physical and emotional outbreaks such as excessive barking, pacing, licking or when they are visiting the vet! I gave this idea to a 10,000-ft. vacation spa kennel for dogs and other pets. The dogs were attacking each other in the “play yard.” They added it to the drinking water so the animals could enjoy their “vacation” in a happy manner and be more sociable. Essences are only “vibrational medicines” and are harmless. Actually you can make your own from many of nature’s plants, crystals or rocks. Place good water in a crystal bowl, add the petals of the chosen plants, such as an almond tree blossom petal, to the water. Place in direct sunlight for two hours or more.

Voila! These are not the same as oil essences!!!! They have no odor, only the Chi or energy of the flower. Use white cotton gloves or a handkerchief to pick the petals, as you don’t want your body oils on the petals in the mixture.

P.S. The last time I made an essence, the neighbor’s cat drank some of the water. He certainly was a smart cat, but I had to start over, because now I had “Kitty Essence.”

There are many books on how to make flower essences, or go online to choose the energy meaning of each flower, plant or crystal and enjoy the experience of nature’s healing.

Hope this gives some insight to our relationship with the environment and how delicate the balance is between the two. Thanks for your question.
