Tend To Your Business Using Feng Shui And Watch It Grow!
Portland is a wonderful location. It is not by accident that I have great access to an international airport, metro transit system, three major freeways and the Columbia River! It doesnt matter if you have a home office and never see any clients in person, it is best for any business to have a good flow of Chi. This may only apply to your driveway, front entry and hallways being clear of debris from overgrown hedges to stacks of paper. Clutter will kill emotions, will power, and the ability to think, and it will frustrate the heck out of any ideas that make it to the brain! Business and relationships will stall, and anger becomes your new roommate. Remove the blockages of your location to activate new and old clients.
I had neglected my new loft because of last years travels, and papers still filled the floor. It took weeks to unclutter the mess of moving, deleting mountains of paperwork on the computer and the overflowing boxes which held my past. I sat for days with a paper shredder 12 inches from my grasp, letting the past flow through the blades of the loud machine. Each paper was scanned before it was tossed or saved. Over the weeks my attitude improved, my diet improved and clarity began to return. Next in my preparations for my new life, I turned to major and minor Feng Shui adjustments in my new living space. Placing a new large mirror under my phone and changing the desktop image and color brought immediate results. Within minutes the phone was ringing off the wall and I could hear the magic tone of the computers ring receiving new email. Choosing to live near the river, airport and freeways was paying off quickly, now that I had set my mind to the chore of letting go of over three quarters of possessions and old ways of doing business.
Main harbor, airways and freeways are todays Mouth of Chi. Today they are considered the Waterways or Water element which, when flowing easily, surely bring opportunities to your doorstep.
I am blessed with return clients and that very day one decided to contact me to update his company that is number one for technology development. During my deleting process, I saved those companies emails which listened and applied the Feng Shui cures I had suggested many years before, and sent them an update on my traveling schedule to California. Within hours I was helping to design more new offices for this company. I was given 4-5 graphic drawings to comment on. None of them were Feng Shui friendly. I want my clients to prosper, so at 11:00 that night I scanned my design for the 1200-square-foot new space. It was morning in China, and so the calls by phone to complete the information began at midnight. Now I have been asked to get Skype oh my.
Here is part of the conversation by email.
Hi Caroline,
Please see the attached PowerPoint for the current renderings as well as the notes showing how they are going to be changed. I think this meets pretty much all the Feng Shui requirements, but please bring anything that Ive misinterpreted or otherwise missed to my attention. Thank you!
From China office
Hello again, I am back home in Portland for two weeks, then on to the Bay Area in California for three weeks to teach and do consultations starting April 6th. (Please read below for schedules.)
Did you get my last emails about the Power Point images? Everything looks okay. There are some things to adjust which can be accomplished by decor objects, such as bowls of oranges on the conference table in multiples of 9 that can be eaten, but replaced to bring the number back to 9, 27, etc. after people have eaten them. Oranges are used as abundance symbols in the Chinese Culture and also symbolize money. They actually clear spaces with their fragrance and acidic properties. The peelings can be used in bathing to remove toxins in the body. The color is also an enhancement for some Guas or sections of the Bagua or template of lifes aspects, especially the Tai Chi or Health area of a house, office, room or building.
The red feature wall or Company Logo Wall needs two or more tall Bamboo plants in large pots to balance the red color of Fire and the green color of Wood. Live plants are best, but artificial can be used. Set them against the red wall in some way.
I put notes on the rendering or graphic office drawings you sent. Did they come through?
I am still concerned about the hallway to your office with the design detail of the hallway narrowing in suddenly. This design constricts an even flow of the Water Element to the main doorway. If the owner of the building doesnt allow additions such as mirrors and lights, I may have to figure out something as a cure for the inside offices to push the narrow space to expand this section of hallway.
I will be at my desk for two more weeks, if you have additional questions, before going to Benicia and Redding, California.
Good Luck, thanks for making this easy!! You are good at understanding my ideas and cures.
Caroline
