West Meets East© By Caroline Patrick Feng Shuis Seen and Unseen "Cures"
Feng Shui, the art of placement, is not only used to create lovely peaceful living spaces, but also brings a balance of personal relationships when particular harmonies are set into motion by the home owner. This ancient science of activating a natural flow chi or breath of life throughout the house can be promoted by the use of seen (mundane) and unseen (transcendental) methods. As a consultant, I am trained to evaluate and determine what "cures" are needed to bring balance into personal spaces. There are nine equal stations of life contained in everyones floor plan. Whether you live in one room or own a large house, the bagua or ever-expanding grid placed over your dwelling lines up the directions of career, knowledge, family life, wealth, fame, partnership, children and hobbies, people who assist you, and a center health section to determine how the home reflects your physical being. Mundane solutions are easy to put into place. We understand physical objects change a space when positioned correctly. Here is an example of a client using mundane or seen enhancements into motion after my suggestions during her consultation. Here is her email: Caroline, Just to let you know that after your consultation with me, I put up a nicely framed corkboard with business cards from several people on it. I also included some pictures of angels, a red vase and some purple flowers and seashells on the shelf attached to the corkboard. This was about two years ago, and I have had dramatic changes in my life since then. I have gotten my financial situation cleared up and my personal relationships have improved 100%. Her concern was money problems and a lack of personal relationships. Using her "helpful people" qua or section, she added business cards of those people needed for better connections in business and private life. Her correction is hardly noticed but is very powerful. I strongly advise activating this immediate right area from the front entry doorway for any action needed. The transcendental cure of a round faceted lead crystal, hung above this area, would have added 110% unseen power to this solution. A prayer, 110% even more energy. This second client also needs both the mundane (seen) and transcendental (unseen) cure for the missing area of his house. The best solution is to add a room or porch with an overhang to fill in the missing part and use a wealth area enhancement of a pond, water feature, a light shining back to the house to fill in the missing space. The unseen force of the mirrors on the inside walls pushes out the walls, so as to add space where there is none. This Alice In Wonderland walkthrough creates an invisible doorway to prosperity. His email follows: Question: Can you help me with some suggestions? Due to the construction of my home, the prosperity section is missing. How can I correct this? Hello. Thank you for your question. Please check my website, www.moongateschool.com for my weekly newspaper columns. There may be one out of the 30 or so stories to help with this problem. My question to you would be, who chose the current house? Choosing a floor plan with this important section missing shows me as a consultant you might feel that life is a financial struggle. Someone has imparted the lesson that you must always strive to keep money. This missing area also indicates a hard worker. "Fixing" this space is a must to gain abundance which we all deserve. What rooms are closest to this back left side of the house? Placing a mirror shining inward on both of these walls releases the chi and helps it expand. A large lead round faceted crystal placed at the edge of the protruding corner on the ceiling is a good idea. I would also be checking out the outside backyard for a lovely setting. Using the color purple activates this qua or section. Plants, statues, windchimes are also chi enhancers. We have three feng shui classes coming up this fall plus many more on other exciting subjects. If money keeps avoiding you, build a room or overhanging porch to this wealth. Call for more information. Are you in the Benicia area? Visit my shoppe for more ideas! Using objects which you already love and own for feng shui enhancements is my first priority. Shifting images, objects and by adding your own prayers, meditations, and ceremonies to the home create the energy and power for change. Remember, unloading the excess from your home gives space to new opportunities.
