Most Asked Questions Regarding a Feng Shui Consultation

1.WHAT DO I GET FOR THE FEE YOU CHARGE?

In-home consultations fees are based on EXPERIENCE, square footage, mileage, time with the client and time spent on-site, which varies. Each home is different. They range from one room to thousands of square feet. Each house has unique adjustments according to unique situations such as money loss, health problems, children’s grades or divorce. It is always best to fix problems before they start. One consultation could change the “history” of your present life and possibly help avoid future mistakes. Using the ancient The Art of Placement in the proper constructive order will remedy many situations.

2.DOES A BUSINESS CONSULTATION COST MORE?

Yes, usually. It depends if it is an in-home business or at another location. Businesses are usually in another building and require double drawings, teaching the owner many techniques such as placement of desks, vault break room locations, employee problems, and special ways to increase sales, investments or protect themselves from lawsuits. Corporate levels of Feng Shui involve proposals, allowing the client to choose short- or long-time commitments with my services. Successful businesses, I have found, make sure we do a yearly check, seeing to all the new ideas and changes that develop, as the company grows using Feng Shui.

3. I WANT TO BUILD OR BUY A HOME. DO I NEED YOU NOW OR LATER?

Please, before you do any more planning, call me and set up an appointment on-site or by phone. I will check all floor plans and give my expert opinion on a “healthy house” before you build or buy. Careers, health, and the health of your children can be nurtured or stifled by a poor designed dwelling. A house or space can usually be “cured,” but when there is a choice to choose the best floor plan, do so. Remember to avoid toilets in the center of a house, which deplete all aspects, or a toilet in the Wealth Gua, which brings financial loss to the residents. Slanted walls and staircase placement are other considerations. I love designing healthy houses, and I work with the builder and architect to make sure your house flows in the proper sequences.

Recently a client’s floor plan revealed a slanted wall in the far back right corner of the house, which is the Partnership, or adults-only area (in my opinion). Through this door was a very short hallway with three doors immediately going three different directions: One to a grown daughter’s room, a bathroom in the middle and the third to a room for a troubled teen who was seeing ghosts, all within three to five feet.

Placing two teens and a bathroom in a Marriage corner or Gua can cause stress to the teens, feeling they need to act like adults and are responsible for their parents’ actions. It is a sad situation. For as long as I have been practicing Feng Shui, it is rare the parent will move the child or children from this corner of the house. They give a multitude of excuses for not taking back this natural commanding room of authority. The parent or parents of these homes don’t want the full responsibility of the household and feel comfortable relinquishing this heavy burden on their kids. Divorce papers have been filed as of a few weeks ago in one of these cases. Is this a coincidence? Maybe, but I have witnessed too many of these floor plans to not warn parents of their energies. Why not avoid the stress they create.
