Many students and clients have emailed me with questions pertaining to further workshops on the Art of Placement since I ‘deserted’ them. Actually I taught approximately 160 classes in art, herbs and Feng Shui in the Bay Area, and I would gladly return to teach a weekend workshop if it was set up. Will you be moving to Anacortes or nearby? I gave a talk at the Food Coop in Mt. Vernon, Washington yesterday on Mapping the Home, a very important phase of placing the Bagua or the eight-sided grid over your house plan. It was scheduled for two hours and went for three. Feng Shui changes the way you see yourself in the house floor plan you choose. If you are looking for a home, please send the floor plan to me first for evaluation before you choose a dwelling as I want you to have a pleasant and prosperous environment. I will email you some information as my address will be changing in the next month. I have been asked to join Sound Health Center, a group of physicians, dentists, and other health practitioners dedicated to healing the physical, mental and environmental through natural methods. The owner of the complex is a very well known dentist in the Northwest, who has provided his patients with mercury-free dental treatment since 1983. Patents come from all over for his services.

The owner recently asked me to provide his builder with proper Feng Shui entry placement advice in regard to the additional space designs on the lower floor of the large complex. This beautiful structure, which has been built with only natural, chemical-free materials, was a concept which has come to life. His devotion to the environment and the healing of the individual as a whole is a benefit to mankind. His dedication is an example for all of us to follow as each person contributes to world transition with their practices of Feng Shui.

My office is in the lower back left section of the building called the Wealth Gua, where Caroline’s Feng Shui Concepts is located. I will assist the other practitioners with consultations for their homes and offices so all of the occupants are continually successful in helping the public. I’m excited to work with the builder in a design aspect. Feng Shui colors will be added along with natural stone and tiles. The main colors will reflect the purpose of the complex, which is to teach clients and patients to heal their bodies and homes. Green carpets from natural materials will ground and visually create a new ‘growth.’ Shades of green also symbolize Family and the Health of Family, another triad in the Bagua.

Yellow will be the main color on the walls. This Earth color helps heal with its ancient properties. Many herbs contain both green and yellow portions in the plant which help the body cleanse in a natural way. Yellow, sienna, red clay, brown and orange tones of pottery, tile and art work bring in the element of Earth needed in healing facilities. Living plants, mirrors, artwork, lighting, crystals, flags in six colors and murals will also be added to lift the energy of this treasured center and give all of its visitors a boost of ‘CHI’!

Dear Student:

Happy New Year to you! And thank you for taking my classes. I’m not aware of any teachers of Feng Shui within 30 miles. Of course in the Bay Area, traffic is a major concern for commuting to and from classes, but if you feel a passion for learning the Art of Placement by qualified instructors and masters, you will find a way to make it happen. Don’t let other people discourage your purpose.

Activate your Career Gua, especially the Helpful People Zone of your home. Write your expectations date and sign your note. Slip the written intention into a Red Envelope. Place in a silver container, activate the action with a prayer or mantra. A clear 50-mm pure crystal hung in the Helpful People or front right area of the home or office will allow energy to encircle your words of intention. Silver a symbol of the Metal Element which, in the progressive state creates Water, is the home of the Career section of the house. Water brings blessings and Chi with its gentle flowing motion. This simple action helps people create Career choices.

Now for schools. Choose which type of Feng Shui appeals to you. I feel all schools work on some level, but some seem more superstitious which doesn’t fit in with Western concepts. As you know, I have studied with several teachers and Tibetan Black Hat Sect first made known, although not the first teacher of this school, by Master Lin Yun. Professor teaches all over the world. His personality, humility and high ideals about mankind and how Feng Shui can help bring peace to the world appealed to me. He concludes that the Lord’s Prayer or any form of prayer is just as affective as chanting.

Another brilliant Feng Shui scholar is Roger Green, who 30 years ago translated many of the Chinese books on Feng Shui into English. He also has a high regard for Master Lin. Compass School is his passion. He teaches all over the world and has several schools. The new Golden Gate School in Berkeley was created by him last year. If you choose to immerse yourself in the ancient theories behind the balance of wind and water and learn ceremonies, contact Stephen Post’s 1-3 year Black Hat Courses. All of the workshops are expensive as these teachers have spent thousands of dollars on their education.

Another good source is fengshuidirectory.com and check your area for teachers and classes. Katherine Mets teaches on-line. She is the best for Black Hat and is highly recommended by Professor, as she has taken almost every class he has given. I have traveled many miles during my studies. The last few have been Portland, Minnesota, and Harvard. I plan two or more workshops a year. Organize a workshop for me and I will gladly come back to teach again. I’m the most affordable instructor I know, as I have tried to spread the word as quickly as I could knowing I don’t live in one area for very long.
