International Feng Shui Guild Meetings

Marin County has a new branch which organized last year to bring professional Feng Shui consultants together from all schools of thought. This is only one branch of International Group to which I belong. Putting all differences aside, this group has learned to listen to each others’ concepts in an effort to bring the highest form of Feng Shui knowledge to their practices and help the world find peace through the balance and harmony of the earth’s environment. Here is the outgoing president’s email on upcoming workshops. Since they are in the Bay Area, I will pass along the time and dates to anyone interested in joining the group for advanced Feng Shui Workshops, and world famous teachers.

Subject: 4 Pillar review opportunity with David Twicken

Hi Everyone,

As you may know, I am sponsoring David Twicken's 4 Pillars of Destiny class in Chinese astrology.

David has decided to offer students of 4 Pillars from any source an opportunity to REVIEW and DEEPEN your 4 Pillars knowledge by taking the final weekend of his class:

Jan 31-Feb 1, this coming weekend. The class is held in a beautiful location in Lafayette. I am organizing the car pool.

The cost will be $250. Please contact me at 415-457-9001, or be return email, or contact David at David@healingqi.com.

David is an advanced and very clear teacher, and these opportunities don't come around often here in the Bay Area.

Best regards,

Lynne Ashdown

Hello Lynn,

I don’t know why destiny has sent me to the Northwest when all of these wonderful teachers are giving these ‘once-in-a-lifetime" workshops! Guess I will understand in the future. Maybe my news will bring some of you this way in the future to teach in this area. We are the gateway to Canada, the San Juan Islands and Alaska.

I have been asked to join a group of healing professionals in Anacortes, Washington. The building was constructed of only natural, chemical-free products. I will be an "on-staff Feng Shui consultant/practitioner" to help each health provider in the building arrange their offices and the treatment rooms so the balance of each space assists the client or patient during the treatment process. Working with several health complexes in the Bay Area, I have found Feng Shui to be extremely beneficial in the healing facilities as patients felt the change the positive flow of Chi in the atmosphere.

The complex is owned by a well-known dentist, Doctor Russ Boreman, who provides his patients with mercury-free care. Using the power of color and Elements in a visual setting, I will be adding murals to building to enhance and correct some of the areas in the structure. The complex was opened several years ago, but the building never seemed to flourish. I was called in during construction of the lower half, as the owner believes fully in Feng Shui and saw my ad in the local newsletter-magazine and called me that day to help with the process.

I have only been working with the contractor four weeks. After adding color, correct tile patterns (Bagua in the center of the building), using the shapes and colors of the Bagua, etc., calls are coming in from acupuncturists, naturopaths, and other practitioners to fill the vacant spaces. When given my choice of office space, of course I chose the Prosperity Corner for my office and will have a painting room also in the building. What a great gift!

I’m teaching several workshops for the local college and two city classes. The interest is growing for Feng Shui. We have a class space for 60 or more and will be looking for teachers and speakers soon. I hope we can entice some of you to come and speak as we find and create students.

I miss the International Feng Shui meetings and wish you the best on your future as Julie Hun takes over your position. I am still writing my weekly newspaper column called WEST MEETS EAST for the Benicia Herald in the Bay Area, which can be read on my website under moongateschool.

Would you mind passing this email on to the group? I have recommended the Golden Gate School for my past students as a great way to continue their learning with Roger Green and some of his associates and, of course, my mentor, Master Professor Lin Yun, and his trained teachers.

Thanks again for your many, many hours of dedication to the Art of Placement and its thrilling impact on the world, and please continue to send class information so I can pass it on to my readers.
