West Meets East© By Caroline Patrick Future Classes Many people have emailed me wondering my whereabouts? For those of you who were gone for the summer and are now back at work needing Feng Shui classes to get a jump start to success, I sold my business in July to start a new adventure of change and purpose. I still will be teaching, writing and painting. I have already met many exciting people of like mind. I feel there are no accidents and that "coincidence" is only another word to describe purpose and the pace of the journey.
Using Feng Shui to excel the process is a personnel choice. During my trips to town I have "run into" no less than 20 strangers who start a conversation which seems to be about some unimportant thing, and then find out we are connected by situations, places and former teachers. It is a small world. We become instant friends by feeling the need to be in a particular place at a particular time or God’s time when you follow the flow. Well, I am rambling again. The message, though, is clear. Remove emotional, physical and visible clutter to find your way into the future. Start by getting rid of 27 things. I will leave you to your imagination about what things.
Here are two emails from a person I missed helping in the Bay Area. Hello Caroline! I would like to find out when your new Feng Shui classes at Solano Community College will be for next year please. Thank you. A Reader Dear Reader, Hello and good morning, my classes will soon be listed on the website. Go to fengshuiartistry click on moongateschool for an archives of my newspaper columns. The last four or five articles update my latest adventures about moving to ‘The Great Northwest.’ I moved from Benicia, CA to Anacortes, WA. in July and opened an office on the main street called Commercial. My new consultant/practitioner business is called CAROLINE’S FENG SHUI CONCEPTS. My art studio will be on the property of my home, as I find it is hard to paint and answer Feng Shui questions in the same space, especially when creating a watercolor image. Watercolor has a mind of its own and it flows like music in the wind, or sometimes as a storm. (That was a joke.)
I’m also sorry you missed the local classes on Feng Shui. My next series of classes and workshops will be for Skagit Valley College in Mt. Vernon, WA and other organizations which need the counseling for their businesses. Many times a employer will contact me as a teacher to provide a workshop for his/her employees. This way the employer benefits as his employees learn the power of Feng Shui and use the suggestions I make for his company, which in turn improves the quality of his workers’ abundance as the information learned during the workshop is applied in the home environment as well. Everyone wins when Feng Shui is incorporated at work and the home environment.
Caroline Patrick Dear Caroline, Thank you for your reply, Caroline, and I'm sorry that you no longer be teaching in the Bay Area. I wish that I had visited you when you were still in Benicia. I was so close to you then (I live in Vallejo). I don’t know much about drawing and my sense of direction for example, figuring out where’s the northeast or northwest side of my house, is almost impossible. Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. A Reader Dear Reader, Hello again, never fear. Have someone in the family draw up a rough sketch of the house and fax or mail me the floor plan, including the shape of the property if possible. You don’t need to know the directions with the form of Feng Shui I use. It is still effective. We can set an appointment time by phone. I will verbally go over the floor plan with you as I draw the Bagua or template over your home. It is simple and very easy. I return the drawing so you can follow the suggestions. Caroline Patrick
