Jump Start the Chi for New Career Changes

Many people are changing careers at the Year of the Ram brings in the energy of togetherness and peace. Families are reevaluating lifestyles and the importance of harmony closer to home. Here is a current email from a former client reflecting this energy.

Dear Caroline,

We’ve had an interesting year (starting from January 2002). My husband decided he had had enough of the corporate rat race and left his job in San Francisco. He started a home repair business in May called Hire My Husband. I help on several of the projects (painting, irrigation design, home repairs) and we are busy. We advertise in the Benicia Herald and the Vallejo Times Herald and most recently in the Grapevine in February and March. What can we do in our home to stimulate more positive energy for this venture? We feel we are doing well but know it can be better. We live in the Kentfield model, like yours with the same footprint. How can we stimulate the Helpful People sector that is missing because of our floor plan, and also the wealth sector? Hope to talk to you soon.

Have you tried any of the original suggestions I made for your present home? Please read the story I wrote for the newspaper recently about crystals and their importance. You can check my website moongateschool.com and their power in balancing the mouth of the Chi. This enhancement is the key that starts the motor or action of your new business. A 40 to 50mm crystal is needed at the front entry door hung about 3 feet into the entry hall from the door. Many people attach it to the light fixture and wind the string around or over the fixture.

Here is a checklist that might jog your memory when Feng Shuiing your home. After I left your house, did you add red flowers or silk red plants outside in the front yard and hang a wind chime on a pole or tree in the Helpful People and Travel Gua or the room closest to the Children and Creativity zone in your L-shaped floor plan?

This Feng Shui remedy is like a cake recipe. "Place on silver container in the Helpful People and Travel Gua. Add several business cards of potential customers or clients. Place a phone book of surrounding communities under the container. Place an up-growing healthy plant close by and maybe a telephone. Add a prayer, a blessing or ceremony of your choice to activate your new service. Turn a light on over the setting or altar to "turn on the fire." Use the room daily and remove any negative symbolic items from nearby, such as clocks that aren’t running (time standing still) workout equipment (life is a workout). Dead plants, unloved furniture, dried flowers, stored tools or old clothing could be representation of your former life. Add a bamboo plant for stability and growth in your new business. Was a ceremony, a blessing or prayer in that area performed to energize this all-important section of your environment?

You can also apply these same suggestions for the Wealth area inside and outside your home in the far back left corner. A fountain turned toward the house in the backyard is helpful to invite abundance and keeps the Chi flowing and circulating in the Prosperity section. Check the outdoor barbecue station. Store the fire symbol in the middle back or Fame area of the house.

Lead crystals are a must when activating spaces. Review the Feng Shui consultation material again for more clues. Choose an eye-catching business card with symbols of your new venture along with a matching brochure. Create a touch of red to entice the blessings of good Chi.
