Business and Home Go Hand in Hand

Spring is the season when change is in the air. Up-growing new energy fills every space. Earth and Heaven come together in a cycle of creation, bringing new life to the planet. Removing Winter’s dead branches from trees that couldn’t adjust to the harshness of the freezing temperatures or replacing an old cement walkway with a winding path of stepping stones will add beauty to your surroundings. Using Feng Shui concepts to improve outside influences can be accomplished through landscaping. Adding color, design and special-shaped gardens or a fountain will improve the Feng Shui. Using the Element of Water near the front entry will open new opportunities for the coming year. Choose a Water feature which sprays upward into the air, catching the Chi or flow of energy nurturing the Career Guas or areas near the street.

I can hear some of the readers saying, “These aren’t new Feng Shui ideas, what is she talking about?” As much as I talk about this easy Feng Shui tip, when revisiting a client, I find this simple correction I gave to you isn’t used! Why? Broken fountains are found sitting in the front and backyards unplugged, dirty brown water left stagnant and stinking in the bowl. How will that be of any help? Successful company owners keep their homes in perfect working order, which in turn support their businesses. To get the benefits of Feng Shui, the suggestions must be utilized.

Neglected homes produce unproductive employees and businesses. Fountains and landscaping maintenance are a must for vineyards, government buildings, corporate facilities, schools, shopping malls and town centers. When Chi is blocked in the home, Health, Wealth, recognition, marriage Partnerships, Creativity and Helpful People are scarce, your Career becomes stagnant and your Wisdom is not recognized in the home by family members or at work by your employees or employer.

Science will someday catch up with the seemingly simple suggestions made by an experienced consultant. Mundane or seen solutions are easy. If a fallen tree is blocking your path, you remove it. If there is a leak in the roof, you fit it. If your mattress is old and worn out, you buy a new one. If your child cries, you find out why or hang a crystal over their bed or desk for clarity of the problem. Feng Shui, which translates as the interaction of Wind and Water, has two qualities which are studied and suggested to cure a problem related to harmony and balance of nature. Mundane, or the seen answer, is called Yang, and the transcendental answer is the Yin or the unseen situation.

Reading Chi is a cultivated skill. Behind this skill is the trained consultant who will look at the unseen reason the tree fell: dead roots, too much water, to little water or a “deadness” to the land coming from an unknown source such as toxic Earth, an underground seepage of chemicals or continual negative energy bombarding a lonely tree in T-zone (traffic continually aiming at home at the end of a street).

I have witnessed several roof leaks only in one spot of a person’s home, where upon later investigation, I have found the spot directly above a woman, man or child who has cried excessive tears in a chair directly in line below with the water problem. Why? Water pulls Water. A child may be crying from his /her bed being in line with a staircase, a window or shelf above their head, or digestion problem from dairy, sugar or the parents arguing. These transcendental problems call for transcendental solutions. Please use an experienced consultant for these solutions, as Feng Shui also takes into consideration each part of the body associated with the Bagua or the eight-equal sections and their aspects for corrections. To use the ancient Art of Placement wisely, you must hang those round-faceted pure crystals in the correct position, place mirrors to pull and push energy of the bed, desk and stove into alignment, and understand what is behind the vast training of a good Feng Shui consultant.

The home and business go hand in hand just as the mundane and transcendental cures and corrections go hand in hand. For the best results, leave the job of Feng Shui to the professional, who will guide you each step of the way to success, as each home and business is unique. I took my own advice when Feng Shuing my studio/condo and hired a colleague. Just as a dentist or surgeon shouldn’t work on themselves, I decided looking through another person’s eyes would be wise. She found a couple of places to enhance which I had overlooked.

Do a double check this Spring while clearing out the excess and see what is missing in your life.
