West Meets East© By Caroline Patrick Lawsuits and Landowners III
As you can determine, Feng Shui consultations can become complicated, and working with the client is like a mystery continually unfolding. Questions are answered in a learning format, which helps them continue to question life and serves as foundation in which life gets easier as we learn about ourselves through the energy of the house we chose to purchase. Our lessons unfold as the Bagua, or eight-sided template, is placed over the footprint of the shelter. The shell of the house becomes a home as we investigate ourselves through our living spaces. The house becomes us and we become the house!
Hi Caroline,
Thanks again for your comments. I will be home tomorrow, so I will check my mail in the morning to see if you've sent the fax number and will forward our house plans.
I ordered two mirrors (one of each: convex and concave) from Marina Lighthouse last week and immediately put the one that protrudes OUT (that is the convex one, isn't it?) on our back porch, facing their property. Must it be in/on the house, rather than on the porch? Also, I haven't put a message on it yet; I put the message in the silver teapot though.
It is interesting that the Bagua corresponds to parts of the body. I have been saying for a long time to my husband that when I see cars whipping up and down the easement, I feel it in my stomach (the yellow chakra); it feels like a complete invasion of who I am. It makes me feel violated and angry. But like I said, I have been working with a healer and have been working at not letting everything rule my life. That seems like my big assignment, as it is very difficult to not get emotionally involved as I watch this happening on our land; but this is what I have right now, so I am working with it.
Regarding clutter, there is very little in our house. I will de-clutter some more though. The only thing we have outside that I feel needs to change is a big old barn which we would eventually like to remove, along with a garage, and replace them with something new. We cannot afford to do that right now, though. Do you think we should even bother de-cluttering these buildings since the rubbish from them would be part of the barn demolition project? And the pond is back there, sitting stagnant. Can I use a mirror to bring in good energy in the meantime? And we have overgrown berry bushes (1200 of them) that have all kinds of weeds. These will eventually be removed with a backhoe, we do not yet have the money. There is not much I can do in the meantime. There are lots of birds and animals (and me too!) enjoying the pickings and foliage they provide, though.
As you can see, we need money to make the larger changes on our property. I have been conscious of this and have been working on getting the wealth "to flow" in; however, I just learned the other day that "additions to homes" should not be part of the Bagua of the original home. Is this true? If it is, then I have been working on the wrong room in terms of increasing our wealth.
Thanks again.
A Reader Dear Reader, I will have the fax on tomorrow till 10 a.m. What western birth sign are you and your husband, and do you have anyone else living in the home? Please attach the a loving note on the back of the mirror and I will explain more later. Thanks, Caroline |
